About this campground
We want to be something for all our guests. Summer is holiday time and with the fjord and mountains as well as Tafjord Friluft's swimming pool. And with a short distance to Ålesund, Runde, the Atlantic Way, Geiranger and Trollstigen, Tafjord Båthamn & Camping is a good choice for local and longer excursions in some of Norway's wildest nature. Tafjord Båthamn & Camping has been around for many years, and has had countless tent and camping overnight stays over the years. When you come to Tafjord you will find us by the fjord and Frilufts badet. There are places by the bathroom and we can also offer electricity in most places. The campsite has a medium capacity.

A lot has changed since then, the camping was started, but the nature is the same and the holiday will be quite similar to the one you had as a child. Here there is the opportunity to set up a tent, wash the dishes in a tub or enjoy life in a good old-fashioned camping chair. Our kitchen has light meals and dinners, fast food and a kiosk. If you come with a caravan, we will find a place for it as well. Or you can rent one of our rental vans. We have motorboats, rowing boats, canoes for hire and can help with fishing equipment and the like. In recent decades, most of our guests have not only had thoughts of a cozy camping trip when they have rounded up our campsite, but also thoughts of location to nature and the mountains and the fjord At our guest jetty, we can offer a quiet harbor to lie by, with electricity available. Tafjord Båthamn & Camping is open from May to October and our aim is to create a pleasant atmosphere and intimacy; so that we have the opportunity to welcome you back again.
