About this campground
Welcome to a nature experience at Trollveggen Camping. You will find us at the foot of Europe's highest vertical rock face; Trollveggen, surrounded by Trolltindene and Romsdalshorn, with the Raurna river flowing nearby. Here, in the middle of beautiful and wild Romsdalen, by the E 136, just 10 km from Andalsnes, you have a good starting point for many well-known destinations such as the Atlantic Road, Mardalsfossen or "The Golden Route" over the Trollstigen to Geiranger. The Trollveggen is considered the very "Test of Manhood" within the sport of climbing. Dramatic climbing expeditions and daring parachute jumps have made Trollveggen world famous. There have been many triumphs and tragedies.
