**Cancellation Policy** - Cancellations made prior to 48 hours of the reservation date will be eligible for a full refund of the booking amount, excluding a $5 cancellation fee. - Cancellations made within 48 hours of the reservation date will not be eligible for any refund, including Let's Camp reservation fees. - A reservation fee of $3 - $10 (depending on length of stay) plus applicable taxes is applied to each site. - Refunds will not be issued due to inclement weather. - After checking in, no refunds will be issued, including for early departures. - Rates are subject to change without notice. **Booking Policy** - Payment in full is required upon booking. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Debit (Debit for in person bookings only). - Maximum booking period is two weeks. - Reservations in advance are recommended, especially during peak season in July and August. - Rates are based on one vehicle or two tents per site. - Six persons maximum per single campsite. **Campground Rules** - Check in time is 12:00 pm. - Checkout time is 11:00 am. - One picnic table and fire ring per site only. - Keep campsite clean and leave in the same condition as when you arrived. A cleaning fee will be a applied if your campsite - Campfires must be confined in the fire ring and kept at a safe size. Make absolutely sure your campfire is out before turning in or leaving. Campers must abide by any fire bans in place during their stay. - Keep your pet(s) leashed at all times during your stay. You are responsible to clean up after your pet(s) promptly. Pets are not allowed in buildings, washrooms, playground areas. Pet's owner(s) shall ensure the pet does not engage in excessive noise at any time. Please do not tie your pet to the trees. - Ensure garbage is securely tied into bags and deposited into the dumpster. - Quiet Time: 11:00 pm to 7:00 am. Music must be kept at a reasonable level. Anyone causing a disturbance will be removed from the campground. Equipment may have to be removed at the owner's risk. - It is against Provincial law to walk around the campground with any alcohol. Alcohol consumption must be confined to your campsite. Please drink responsibly. - No cutting, damaging or removing any branches or trees allowed. - No Fireworks or Chinese Lanterns. - Any infractions of the above rules will result in camping privileges being revoked and charges will be applied for damage. **Boat Slip Rules & Regulations** - The vessel must be adequately insured while the vessel is in the berth rental space; to protect it completely against loss to it, its equipment and contents, caused by storm, fire, theft, vandalism or any other peril of the sea. The City reserves the right to refuse any boat that is not properly insured. - The information provided to the City of Elliot Lake must be true and accurate - All boats assigned berth at the Elliot Lake Boat Launch shall not exceed the length or width of the allotted berth space. Attachments to the boat may not extend onto the walkway in such a manner as to interfere with foot traffic. - Slips are rented and are not the boater’s exclusive property - Only boats assigned to the berth space are permitted to be moored therein, unless prior approval has been given by the City. - Storage of boats is NOT permitted within the Elliot Lake Boat Launch except or rented berth space. - Barbecues are not permitted to be stored, or operated on vessels while in berth spaces. - Each renter is responsible for the safe mooring of their boat and shall furnish and maintain their own lines and chaffing gear. Chaffing gear shall be attached to the boat or tied to the floats; no other type of fastening is permitted. Care shall be taken not to foul any other berth or access with mooring lines. - If a vessel is moored illegally, the City is authorized to padlock the offending vessel. - Fueling of boats while moored in berth space is prohibited. - Following reasonable attempts to notify the owner, the City reserves the right to relocate the berth slip of any vessel. - Operators of sailing vessels shall not maneuver under sail within the Elliot Lake Boat Launch area, excepting sailing dinghies not equipped with motors. - Within the Elliot Lake Boat Launch area boats must be operated at no more than the maximum speed of 5 knots and no wake for safe operation. - The rules of the Road and Navigation Laws of Canada apply to all vessels in or approaching the harbour. - The renter will be solely responsible for themselves and their guests in the area and will use it at their sole risk. The renter will obey and cause their guests to obey all rules and regulations regarding the area and its use established by lawful authority. - Any abuse of alcohol, fighting, offensive language, use of illegal drugs or acts of rude conduct toward any other boater, guest or City staff will not be tolerated. Renters acknowledge that, with this rental agreement, such behavior is grounds for the City, at their sole discretion, to terminate docking privileges without any refund. - The renter is solely responsible for any loss or damage to the vessel, its equipment and contents; and for any loss or damage caused by it, themselves, or their guests to persons and/or property while in the area. The renter will indemnify the City and save it harmless from such losses or damages whatsoever. The renter will make no claim and take no action against the City and will have no enforceable claim against it for loss or damage to persons and/or property arising in the Marina for any causes whatsoever. - In the event that the boat sinks at the docks or elsewhere in the area, the Owner agrees to remove such boat and remedy any pollution caused as soon as practical hours. If the Owner fails to do so, the City may remove the boat at the Owner’s expense and risk and the cost thereof shall be a debt due from the Owner to the City. - A tenant shall be liable for any loss, damage, or destruction caused to Municipal property by their vessel, or their own action including damages caused by their guests and \ all costs shall be payable to the City within thirty (30) days. - The City shall not be responsible for any damage or injury sustained to any boat or person. - Overnight parking of vehicles or trailers are not to exceed 7 days. - No swimming, diving, water skiing or fishing will be permitted within the boat slip area. - Renters wishing to take dogs to and from their boat may do so provided that the dog is on a leash. - Storage of flammable liquids, oily rags, etc., on floats or Municipal property is prohibited, and any costs associated with the clean-up will be charged to the boat owner responsible. Owners shall not store supplies, materials, accessories, articles or debris upon Municipal property and shall not construct their own lockers, chests, and cabinets or modify docks in any way. - No litter shall be thrown overboard. For the convenience of boaters, reuse containers are located next to the mooring area. No refuse shall be thrown overboard. Garbage and recycling shall be deposited in receptacles supplied for this purpose and other debris shall be placed where specified. Additional refuse is the responsibility of renter and must be taken with them upon departure. Municipal bylaws will apply and renter will be subject to adhere. - On site repairs shall not be permitted. - Walkways and fingers must be kept free of tenders, dinghies, materials, debris, carpeting and equipment at all times. - All sailboat halyards are to be tied down. - Boats shall be secured to the assigned berth or moorings with fully adequate lines as appropriate. When required, the City may ask vessel Owners to renew chafed, frayed or damaged lines. Owners shall immediately remove or replace any mooring lines considered by the City to be inadequate or unsafe. - Boats are required to enter and leave the service areas, berths; mooring under engine power or paddle. Arrival and departure under sail within the area as designated is prohibited. Boats with motors must be under control while maneuvering in the area. - Owners shall make mandatory the wearing of life jackets or personal flotation devices for children under 14 and non-swimmers in and around boats, berths and moorings including all docks fingers and walkways. - All vessels should be clearly marked with name and/or license number. - All boat owners are required to comply with the provisions of the current Fire Regulations and the Boating Safety Guide published by the Ministry of Transport. - The City reserves the right to cancel the assigned moorage of any renter who is in violation of the current rules and regulations.
