About this campground
Place perfect for eating, resting and staying. Very nice camper area, located in a beautiful natural environment (large trees, but few places open for satellites) next to the yew, with a pier to visit the river, and a restaurant at the foot of the river (about 100 m from the area). Free Wi-Fi and water absorption, emptying of chemicals, but NOT of gray water at the moment; P shines. They recover well without noise and in the morning with the awakening of the birds.

Walk 150 m southeast and watch where the high Tejo river arrived on 10 February 1979 (mark on the left) and another 150 m to cross the pedestrian wooden bridge over Enxarrique and immediately get to panels with information about the occupation by men 30,000 years ago (Middle Paleolithic). ; Watch when you return the long metal bridge over the river Tejo (at night very beautiful!). The small town Vila Velha de Ródão has an interesting museum. Camping is closed all year round; its reception is open to tourists.
