Fishing, hiking, walking and mountain biking is within easy reach for those with a more adventurous nature, whilst those with a more peaceful approach can visit the many historic local castles and attractions, or simply relax on the miles of golden sandy beach just a short 5 minutes walk away.Situated adjacent to a working farm, this dog friendly site, is the perfect place for all the needs of the family, and offers something for everyone.DirectionsLocationTrawsdir Touring Caravans and Camping Park is situated on the Cardigan Bay coast just 2.5 miles north of Barmouth, on the Harlech Road A496 (bus route).By CarWhen you have reached Barmouth, follow the signs for Harlech (do not follow the beach signs in Barmouth) and pass through the town. Once you have passed through the town, you will come to a sign that says "Llanaber". Keep going along this main road. Pass the Church on the left hand side which takes you up the hill. Follow the road further until you come out of the 40 mph speed limit and reach a long straight. Look to your left and you will see a lot of Mobile Holiday Homes. Pass Caerddaniel until you reach the end of the straight, and pass the Wayside Pub/Fish Bar which is on the right. Trawsdir entrance is just a little further down the hill and is on the right.By TrainExit at the Train Station in Barmouth and go to the Bus Stop adjacent to it, and get on the bus heading towards Harlech. Ask the driver for Trawsdir.
