About this campground
Our campsite is the perfect base for Stonehenge, Longleat, Bath, Salisbury Cathedral and the Magna Carta, Wilton, Stourhead or even Paultons Park & Peppa Pig World.We are AA and British Tourism Board 4 star rated. We also have a Gold David Bellamy Conservation Award and were delighted to win Practical Motorhome's Top 100 Site of the Year 2016.Peace & Quiet -The site is secluded and peaceful with woodland and open fields all around, which are teeming with wildlife and bird song in the morning and owls at night.

Across the valley there are dairy cows on the Druids Lodge estate and we have alpacas grazing on the site the majority of the time.Stonehenge Glamping PodsFor a no-effort, warm alternative to camp life, we offer four lovely luxury heated glamping pods, prettily furnished with comfortable beds, a kettle and fridge and the homely touches that make your holiday comfortable and welcoming. Just bring your own bedding and you're ready to relax. You can enjoy a fire-pit in your own private outdoor area while you chat and stargaze the evening away. We also have two budget pods which give a comfortable 'ready to go' option if you're looking for a halfway house between camping and luxury glamping!The Hobbit Pod, our pod under canvas, has its own dog pod alongside.DirectionsWe are situated conveniently around a mile off the A303 near Stonehenge. Please take the turning to Berwick St James from the A303 in Winterbourne Stoke and find us on the left hand side as you head towards the village. If you're coming from Salisbury you head through the village of Berwick St James and we are on the right hand side, around half a mile after leaving the village. Our postcode is SP3 4TQ.
