No good for large rigs or caravans it's basically a road no real camp area
Really windy during winter but a beautiful view of the sunrise, like 20 meter trek off the road
This campsite offers beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere, making it a great spot for hikers on the Heysen trail. However, it has significant limitations, including restricted parking and space for larger vehicles, which may deter some campers. While the amenities are basic but functional, concerns about neighborhood safety and windy conditions during winter have been raised. Overall, it's a hidden gem for those seeking solitude and natural beauty, but not ideal for everyone.
