Gárdony is a perfect starting point for a day trip to Budapest, 40km away, with sights such as the Parliament building and the Chain Bridge. Worth a visit to Székesfehérvár, the "City of Kings", where the Hungarian kings were crowned in the coronation basilica in the Middle Ages. At the campsite in Gárdony, the small holidaymakers can look forward to a playground.
