The campground is accessed via Forest Service Road 16 and FR 16-350, requiring travel on unpaved forest roads. While recreational activities directly from the campground are limited, Double Cabin Pond is just a short walk away, and Antelope Flat Reservoir is a short drive for fishing and boating opportunities. The surrounding ponderosa pine forest offers wildlife viewing and photography.
