It is one of 4 unique accommodations located on our property which spans over 378 deeded acres bordering BLM land and connects with Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest. This spectacular setting offers each guest access to the thousands of acres of private and public land to recreate on. Step out of your comfort zone into a new comfort zone that is fun for everyone. Beautiful views and wildlife are right out your front porch. See if you can spot the mated pair of Sandhill cranes that are a constant in the valley in front of the cabin. Catch the moose and their young as they make their way to the pond, or watch the black bears and their cubs (from a safe distance of course!). Just a short hike from your front door are 4 lakes for fishing or kayaking: Grassy Lake, Reservoir Lake, Twin Lakes, and Axolotl Lake. The latter is well-known for the artic grayling fish and the rare salamander that Axolotl Lake is named for, can you find one? We are very close to multiple ATV trails for adventure or you can just relax next to the firepit and listen to the stream. We also have our own stocked pond on the property. We are located only 10 miles from the Fly-Fishing capitol Ennis Montana and the Madison River, and only 5 miles to the gold mining towns of Virginia City and Nevada City, down the old Virginia city road that runs through the property.
