About this campground

Adorable new 3-bedroom house in the Tobacco Root Foothills, only minutes away from the national forest and the town of McAllister. The house has a lovely wrap-around deck with great views of the mountains, Ennis Lake, and the Madison Range. The house is very comfortable with nice beds and bedding, fully furnished and fully stocked. It's an easy hour from Bozeman, Montana, 15 minutes from the cute western town of Ennis, and an hour and a half from the West entrance to Yellowstone National Park. The house is equipped with a propane barbecue for outdoor dining. Norris Hot Springs is an easy 20 minutes away.

Fishing can be found about 15 minutes away as well in the Madison River, Ennis Lake, Sureshot, and Twin Lakes among other options. The town of Ennis, has several fly fishing shops, art galleries, restraints, a new library, a hospital, clinic, and golf course! Virginia City, the original capital of Montana, is a 35-minute drive away and offers the brewery follies and numerous other fun activities, including a kid's fish pond and candy store. The town of Ennis also has a great kid's fish pond and a park adjacent to the Madison River on the East end of town. If antiquing is your passion there's a great antique store in Ennis. Other things to do in the area include panning for garnets, horseback riding, paddle boarding, and floating and fishing the Madison River. Nightlife can be a hoot in both Virginia City and Ennis. Ennis has its own distillery, becoming widely known for the fine quality of whiskey and other libations being made right in town.
