About this campground
Welcome to Nærøyfjorden Camping. The campsite is located on Bakka by the Nærøyfjorden. Here you can live right in the heart of UNESCO's World Heritage List, as an example of one of the world's most beautiful and classic fjord landscapes. We are a small family-run campsite with unique and quiet pitches for tents and motorhomes/caravans right by the fjord. The campsite has a new sanitary building with great facilities, reception/café, cabin and 2 rental rooms. Bakka has good hiking opportunities both in the mountains and on the fjord. There are hiking trails up to famous mountains such as Rimstigen, Bakkanosi and Breiskrednosi.

From the mountain there is a great view from 1000-1400m high and straight down into the fjord. The fjord is popular for kayaking and canoeing. We have canoes, motorboats and SUP for hire. The hosts at Nærøyfjorden Camping can guide you on the fjord and can transport you to e.g. Postvegen, Styvi and Dyrdal. NB! If you want to order outside of normal opening hours, you can contact us directly.
