About this campground
Myren camping saw the light of day in the early 1960s when fishermen began to settle where the campsite is today. It started with a tent pitch, but it didn't take long before the first cabins arrived. In the 1960s and 70s, Driva was one of the country's absolute best salmon and trout rivers, and the fishermen came again and again. Today, Myren camping consists of 7 cabins. All are beautifully furnished with varying 2 to 5 beds, all with cooking facilities. In the high season, the housing options are enhanced with two caravans. In addition to this, there is plenty of space to set up your own tent or bring your own caravan. Myren camping is currently run by Halldis Myren Torve. Halldis welcomes guests throughout the season, which lasts from Whitsun until early September, but if other times are desired, it can usually also be arranged.
