About this campground
Overview Thornthorpe caravan park is a family run, adults only site set on our 200 acre farm, which is situated near the market town of Malton. We are located between York and the east coast Our newly opened site has grass only pitches with 10amp electric hook-ups and it also has a brand new shower and toilet block. The site is set in a peaceful location next to a stream where you are likely to see an abundance of wildlife and birds and it is the ideal site for anyone wanting to get away from hustle and bustle of a busy life. There is plenty to do in the area and we have many local pubs and restaurants nearby.

This is a Certificated Site (CS). These select sites are small, privately run campsites that operate under the Club’s jurisdiction and can only accommodate up to 5 caravans or motorhomes and up to 10 trailer tents or tents, unless express permission has been given by the Club to accommodate more. They range from secluded Hideaways to fully facilitated family friendly sites, and are often found in locations where larger commercial sites are prohibited so you could be camping close to a beach or in the National Park, for example.
