About this campground
The site is situated in a parkland field surrounded by mature trees. It is bordered by the River Dove on one side and by a working farm and open countryside on the other. It is within walking distance of the small market town of Kirkbymoorside known as the Gateway To The Moors, where a range of shops and pubs can be found, including takeaways, doctor, dentist, and vet. There is also a garden centre worth a visit. All pitches are hard standing and overlook the field down to the river, have 16amp electric hook up and the water supply is close to all bays. The grass is cut regularly and BBQ`s and firepits are allowed, but not directly on the grass.

Battery and electric bike charging is available on site and recycling is encouraged. Well behaved Pets are very welcome. There is plenty of space for an extra car to be accommodated if guests wish. For your total peace of mind the site entrance and exit are covered by security surveillance cameras. Public transport is a short walk away down the village which can take you to Helmsley, Pickering, Malton, York or to the seaside town of Scarborough. In Kirkbymoorside, you can access the excellent, heavily subsidised Moorsbus system which means you can reach all of The North York Moors, The Coast, Pickering, Malton and York without having to drive anywhere yourself.
