🌲🏕️ IPPERWASH FAMILY CAMPGROUND 🌟 FULL RULES & REGULATIONS (Seasonal + Overnight Campers — Complete & Updated) SECTION 1 — RULES FOR ALL CAMPERS 💛 Respect, Behaviour & Liability - This is a family campground. Be respectful, considerate, and kind. - Music must not be heard beyond your own site. 🎶 - Rowdiness, drunkenness, abusive language, or unruly behaviour is not permitted. ❌ - Use of the campground is at your own risk. Management is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage. 🤫 Quiet Hours & Noise - Quiet Time: 11 PM – 8 AM 🌙 - Voices and noise must stay within your own site. - No outdoor speakers, car stereos, or loud equipment. Firewood • Firewood must be purchased at the Park. No outside firewood can be brought in from outside the park. • Tents are not allowed on any site except on a site that is classified as a tent rental site. • 🛏 Only one sleeping unit per site is allowed, whether it is a tent or a trailer. Only one is permitted per site. No tents or trailers are allowed on trailer rental site. • ⛺ Tents allowed only on designated tent sites. Only 1 tent per site. 👥 Visitors - All visitors must be registered and paid before arrival. - No unregistered visitors. 🚫 - Campers are responsible for their visitors’ behaviour. 🐾 Pets - Must be leashed, supervised, and cleaned up after. - Aggressive dogs are not permitted. - Pets are not allowed in the buildings or pool. - Rental trailers: max 2 small preapproved pets + fees. 🗑️ Garbage, Recycling & Waste - Bag and tie all garbage. - Sort recycling properly. ♻️ - Cardboard must be broken down. - Dumpster is kitchen waste only — misuse will result in a $100 + HST charge. - Unsorted garbage must be taken home. 📡 Internet Access • Rental Trailer: Includes internet for guest use. • Seasonal Sites: Seasonal campers may set up their own service through Execulink. • Overnight Sites: Internet is not provided at the sites, though guests may use mobile data depending on their provider. We may have a spot near the office where guests can connect to our office internet, but this is not guaranteed. 🚻 Washrooms & Key Deposits - Public washrooms available. - $10 deposit per male key + $10 per female key, refunded when returned. 🔑 ⚠️ Safety - Speed limit: 8 km/h (zero tolerance). 🚗 - No fireworks, firearms, or dangerous behaviour. - Children must wear helmets when biking or using scooters. 🚴‍♂️ - Pool is swim at your own risk; daylight hours only. - Do not tamper with hydro, water, or septic systems. 🌿 Environmental Care - No cutting, damaging, or attaching items to trees or shrubs. 🌳 SECTION 2 — OVERNIGHT & SHORT-TERM CAMPERS 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Occupancy - Campsites include 2 adults + children 17 & under. - Extra adults must register and pay. - Rental trailer: max 6 guests (max 4 adults). 🕒 Check-In / Check-Out Campsites (Tent or Trailer): - Check-in: 4 PM - Check-out: 11 AM Rental Trailer: - Check-in: 4 PM - Check-out: 10 AM - No check-ins after 7 PM unless arranged. 🚙 Arrival Instructions 🛻 Pulling in Your Own Trailer - Park on the shoulder of Army Camp Rd. - Stay with your vehicle and call the manager for guidance. - Do not pull in on your own — the turn is tight. ⛺🏡 Tent Sites & Rental Trailer Arrivals - Pull into the entrance and turn left before the brown cottage. - Park and stay with your vehicle. - Call the manager to be guided to your site or rental trailer. 🏡 Rental Trailer Requirements - No linens provided; bring bedding, pillows, towels, dishcloths. 🛏️ - Bring garbage bags, toiletries, paper towels, and beach chairs. - Includes dishes, utensils, stove, fridge, BBQ, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, picnic table, internet. - Trailer must be left clean and undamaged; no food or garbage left behind. SECTION 3 — SEASONAL CAMPER RULES 🌞 Seasonal Occupancy - Seasonal trailers may be occupied May 1 – Oct 15, weather permitting. - No year-round living. - Off-season entry requires permission. 🏠 Trailer Standards & Approvals - Seasonal units must maintain liability, trailer, and contents insurance. - New seasonal units should be under 10 years old unless approved. - Sites and trailers cannot be sublet. - Working smoke detectors and fire extinguishers required. 🌼 Site Maintenance - Maintain grass, gardens, and overall cleanliness. - No storing derelict vehicles or clutter. 🚗 Parking - Park on your assigned site only. - No parking on empty sites or common areas. 🧱 Add-Ons & Structures - All decks, sheds, roofs, sunrooms, and improvements require written approval. - Unauthorized structures may be removed at the camper’s expense. 🛺 Golf Carts & ATVs - Golf cart drivers must be 18+ with a valid G license. - ATV drivers must be 16+. - No operation at night. - Zero alcohol tolerance while driving. - Speed limit of 8 km/h applies. 📝 Trailer Sales - Cannot be sold on-site without management approval. - 10% transfer fee applies. - $600 + HST advertising fee if the trailer is listed by the campground. - Trailers older than 10 years require approval to be sold.
