About this campground
Welcome to Furu Laksvald and Camping Center with fantastic views of the wild mountains in Sunndalen, with fjord, mountains and river in the immediate vicinity. Furu Laksvald and Camping center are located next to Furu farm and are run by the family that lives there. The campsite has been in operation since 1972 and consists of cabins, and pitches for motorhomes, caravans and tents, in three different sections. The largest area on the lower level by the main house on the farm is a secluded part inside the woodland on the lower level, and an upper level by the sanitary facility.

Furu Laksvald and Camping Center are run by the Tangen family, who live on the farm and took over ownership of it the beautiful farm in 2023. You will find the campsite 2.5 km from the center of Sunndalsøra on national highway 70 in the direction of Oppdal. This is a child-friendly family campsite in a very warm and cozy area. We can offer 6 cabins for 2, 4 and 6 people with kitchen equipment. There is no running water, but a sink, shower and toilet can be found in the nearby sanitary building. The campsite has 70 power outlets and toilet emptying for caravans and mobile homes. Service building with washing machine and tumble dryer. Sanitary facilities with sink, toilet and shower. Free wireless internet access. Playgrounds for children on the upper and lower levels, with several play equipment.
