The Eagle River Provincial Recreation Area is available for rentals starting in May Victoria Day long weekend to the October Thanksgiving long weekend. Reservations cancelled up to 48 hours (2 days) before 11:00 a.m. of the originally-scheduled arrival date will be fully refunded except for the booking fee. Reservations cancelled with less than 24 hours (1 day) before 11:00 a.m. of the originally-scheduled arrival date or no-shows will be charged 2 nights of camping fees, the remaining camping fees will be refunded except for the booking fee. The Group campsite maximum capacity is 20 camping units.

Nestled within the beautiful boreal forest of Woodlands County, the Eagle River Provincial Recreation Area offers a peaceful outdoor setting just 10 km north of Whitecourt along Highway 32 toward Swan Hills. This spacious group camping area can comfortably accommodate approximately 15 to 20 camping units, making it an ideal destination for family reunions, community gatherings, club events, and outdoor retreats. Guests who reserve the facility can enjoy newly upgraded amenities, including a brand-new covered cookhouse equipped with a cook stove, providing a comfortable and convenient space for meal preparation and group gatherings.
