About this campground
Dog Creek Camp is a primitive Forest Service campground situated in the Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests in Clearwater County, Idaho. This small, undeveloped site is characteristic of the many dispersed camping opportunities found throughout the vast 4-million-acre forest complex in north-central Idaho. The Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests encompass some of the most remote and rugged terrain in the lower 48 states, with over half the land designated as wilderness. Visitors to Dog Creek Camp should expect minimal amenities and be prepared for primitive camping conditions typical of backcountry Forest Service sites.
