About this campground
Camping De Zwaluw is a cosy family campsite where service and hospitality are standard. Located near the wide sandy beaches of the North Sea, just a few kilometres from Den Helder, it offers a quiet and ideal setting for a beach holiday. The campsite is small-scale with spacious, open pitches and no shade, perfect for sun worshippers. As you approach, you'll pass tulip fields and cross dunes, a sight that's especially glorious in spring when you can smell the hyacinths all the way to the campsite. On-site, you'll find a fully renovated playground since 2016, complete with an air trampoline, slides, and climbing frames. There's also a playhouse for the little ones next to the reception.

For older children, there's a beach football field. The campsite is also an ideal base for excursions in the area, being on the boundary of a vast nature reserve with wide beaches. The beach is just a 5-minute walk away, and Den Helder is approximately 7 kilometres away. In addition to camping pitches, there are plain mobile homes available for rent. At Camping De Zwaluw, you're guaranteed a comfortable and memorable stay.
