The Texelcamping De Shelter, located on the Dutch island of Texel, sets high standards in terms of comfort and amenities. Also the excellent location with close proximity to a fine sandy beach is excellent for a varied bathing and recreation holiday. Luxurious campsite with proximity to the beach On the approximately 1.1 hectare campsite there are 70 parceled parking spaces for holidaymakers. The plots each have a size of about 100 m2, so that you can be undisturbed and self-contained. The extensive equipment including electricity, free Wi-Fi, a launderette and modern sanitary facilities allows a comfortable stay. The place is dog-friendly and also has a playground for the little ones.

However, with young and old is especially popular the short distance to the coast. The nearest beach section has a distance of only about 1 km, so that you can spend without detours relaxing hours on the beautiful North Sea. As on the Dutch mainland, also on the island of Texel is a popular bike tour among the most popular leisure activities.
