TRANSIENTS/VISITORS-RULES AND POLICIES OF THE CAMPGROUND Any camper breaching any of these rules and policies may be evicted from the park with no refund permitted. 1) Washrooms/Showers- We clean our washrooms daily and check them throughout the day. Please help us keep it clean. No going in the showers or washrooms if you are covered with sand. We have two water hoses outside for your convenience to rinse off first. If someone is caught making a mess deliberately, they will lose the access to the washrooms/showers. Also for showers, try not to take too long in the showers, we have others waiting to use them, be considerate. It is free of charge but if problems arise we will install paying showers. 2) Campfires - Campfires are permitted only in contained fire pits and must be extinguished before retiring, in the event of high winds, or upon request of the park operator. 3) Fire Bans must be STRICTLY adhered to! Anyone disregarding this ban will be held responsible for the $2,000.00 Municipal fine and will be evicted from the Park, without a refund or compensation. The Fire Ban sign will be posted just inside the park entrance if a fire ban is in effect. If you are emptying your fire pit, PLEASE do not dump ashes in the ditches or forest, make sure the ashes are cold to the touch or wait an extra day and ONLY discard the ashes in a plastic bag or steel bucket and put them near garbage bins. We will pick them up. 4) Firewood - No scrap wood (i.e., countertops, cupboards, wooden lawn furniture) to be burned. We do sell firewood at the camp. Approval from the Operator is required prior to cutting down trees for any purpose. 5) Please be informed that the park is on well water and conserve whenever possible. Washing of trailers or cars is NOT permitted. 6) Speed Limits - The speed limit for all vehicles inside the park is 5 km/h or less. If someone visiting your site let them know about speed limit in the park. We have lots of children playing, walking and biking in the park. Let’s keep them safe. If a visitor comes in for the beach, fishing or Devil’s Rock and is going a bit to fast, let them know politely or come and let us know so we can take care of it. NO yelling or being offensive or rude to them, seasonal campers and visitors are a big part of our livelihood!!! We won’t tolerate anyone being rude to others. 7) Parking - There are to be no vehicles parked on park roadways at any time. Any visitors to the park must park in the designated visitor parking areas. Parking in the vicinity of the launch is permitted however not in a manner that impedes the use of the launch. Notices will be provided to the car owner should this occur. If you can park your vehicle on your site please do it. 8) Dogs and cats are permitted in the Park and must be on a leash at all times on or off your site. A maximum of two pets only per site is allowed. The poop & scoop rules apply throughout the Park. Visiting pets are permitted, the same rules apply. To avoid complaints about barking dogs, please be diligent and keep your pets quiet for the respect of others. When walking with your dog around d the park don’t let your dog go on other peoples lots. Keep your leash short so no problems arises. 9) Please do not let your children play on or near the docks and boats. Fishing off the docks is NOT permitted. 10) Beach - The Beach is not supervised and children under 12 years of age require adult supervision. 11) Fire Bans must be STRICTLY adhered to! Anyone disregarding this ban will be held responsible for the $2,000.00 Municipal fine and will be evicted from the Park, without a refund or compensation. We will pick them up. 12) All music & loud noise must cease by 11:00 pm week days and 12:00 pm on week ends. Let us know for special occasions. Please have respect for the other campers in the Park after this time. The excessive loud use of car stereos for your music entertainment is prohibited in the Park, and will be strictly enforced. There is exceptions for special occasions. 13) Waste Disposal - Campers are responsible to dispose of their own garbage and recycling in the containers provided in the park. For recycling please make sure no food is left in containers or put it in garbage cans. Recycling bins are not emptied every night and we don’t want uninvited wildlife going through it. Sewage or grey water must be emptied into the holding behind the lodge. Be considerate to your neighbor and don’t do your waste disposal to early in morning or late at night or during meal time. Clean up at dumping station when done. We will also offer Septic Services again this year during the week. NO grey water dumping on the ground at your lot. 14) All complaints or concerns of any kind should be brought to Management directly and preferably at the time of occurrence, so immediate action can be taken. Do not wait until the next day. No aggressive behavior, profanity, verbal abuse or physical abuse will be tolerated in the Park. If a disturbance is reported on your site regarding any of the aforementioned issues the individual/or family will be evicted from the park immediately without any refund of fees. If there is a problem, come and see us! 15) Hunting - Is not permitted in the park, on the road to get into the park or on the Devil’s Rock Trail System 16) For Cabin & Trailer Rentals: There will be an additional cleaning fee of $50 for the Cabins or trailer rentals if it is not cleaned upon departure. Please ensure that your rental is swept, garbage taken to the garbage cans situated throughout the park. 17) Bucke Park Campground will not be held responsible for any loss, damage or theft of any boats or motors, campers, equipment or property stored on your site or that are moored on our docks. 18) Management reserves the right to change the Park rules as required. 19) Main Rule is for you to have Fun and Enjoy your stay!!!!

Bucke Park is a short and long-term campground located at the southern boundary of the City of Temiskaming Shores, only a ten-minute drive from Haileybury and 20 minutes from New Liskeard. It offers 44 sites that service seasonal and transient campers, both RVs and tents. We also offer trailer and cabins rentals, perfect for a family or for just the romantic get away you’ve been looking for. If you want to try a true Northern Ontario Camping Experience, this is the place to be! For our guests we provide clean modern washrooms and showers, a small store with snacks, ice, some groceries, souvenirs and firewood.
