About this campground
Door County is home to five state parks, vineyards, wineries, fishing villages, boating, hiking, biking. The bay of Green Bay is about three miles to the west and Lake Michigan is 12 miles north or to the east with access in Sturgeon Bay. Can go salmon fishing in Algoma about 20 miles east, visit a cheese factory down the road about 5 miles or bike on country roads around our place. Lots of wildlife, wildflowers, beautiful stars and night sky, gorgeous sunsets and very peaceful. Suggested Local Attractions:Can take the ferry to Washington Island and visit a lavender farm, drive around Door County to visit any shops or festivals or lighthouses.

Walk beaches, go swimming, running, hiking, biking, sailing, diving, fishing...any water sports. Cherry picking nearby and throughout Door County. Lots of apple, grape and cherry orchards and farm markets. Several wineries--wine tasting throughout the county (part of the Wisconsin Wine Trail).
