About this campground
Blackberry Wood - Come and stay! The Campsite has a maximum of 20 tents and the camping pitches are in cosy little private woodland glades (some glades are unsuitable for tents larger than 5m x 3m see booking pages for details).We also have a Holiday Bus, a romantic Gypsy Caravan, a Holicopter and our brand spanking new Curvy Cabin for rent. Campfires and bbqs are allowed. You can cook food over an open fire using our grills (now available in all glades).Dry Logs and bbq coals are for sale in our on-site shop which also sells essentials.

The area is surrounded by public footpaths and bridleways.Campers are given a local map pointing out suggested walks, some to excellent local country pubs (see the info page). The campsite is alive with the sound of birds.There are basic toilets, hot showers ( takes 20p pieces) and washing up areas. Dogs must be kept on a lead and under control at all times.Although the site is in the middle of the country side it is situated near the hamlet of Streat, it is only 8 miles or 25 mins by car to Brighton seafront, 5 miles from the lovely old country town of Lewes and close to the villages of Ditchling and Plumpton
