The site is surrounded by rolling wooded countryside and situated near the Pilgrims Way, so there are many lovely walking trails - in particular across the North Downs - to explore at your leisure. You can pick up details about the Downlands Circular Walk from the site entrance. The Fox pub can also be reached by foot, approximately 40 minutes away. Golfing enthusiasts will be delighted as there are several golf courses in the immediate area. The campsite is also an ideal location for exploring much of Sussex, Kent and Surrey and the surrounding coastal areas. Shops and local amenities can be found in nearby Caterham.
