About this campground
Are you looking for a quiet place, away from the tourist traffic? Here you found the place you are looking for! The campsite is a small, quiet place located by Kvænangen in Kvænangsbotn (Troms). Cabins, tents, mobile homes, caravans. Free internet. Kvænangselva (Kvænangen river) is a small but good salmon river. It is easily accessible in the lower parts and wilderness in the upper/inner parts. There are also sea trout, but salmon dominate the river. Bjørkenes is a good starting point for sea fishing from the coast or from a boat. There are many hiking trails around the campsite. It is excellent for people looking for silence and nature experiences.

In autumn, it is a good starting point for hunting or picking berries and mushrooms. If you come with a caravan/motorhome in the winter season: There are snowmobile trails from the campsite to the fjord ice where you can fish for cod, halibut and catfish. There are many ski slopes right near the campsite. We have a lavvo/tipi with a campfire, and a private fishing spot with a gapahuk.
