About this campground
Altafjord Camping is located close to E6 with a beautiful view of the fjords in Langfjordbotn, 70km west of Alta and 310km east of Tromsø. Our family-owned campsite is ready to welcome guests from all over the world between 01. June - 31. August. We have 20 cabins that are unique in their own way. The cabins can accommodate 2-6 people, and some have a private bathroom and kitchen. We also have space for many camping cars, caravans and tents, with electricity and a gorgeous view included. All the spots lie close to the service building, where you find toilets, showers, a kitchen, washing room and a sauna.

The campsite also has a galley with an exhibition of pictures and objects from Sami and northern-Norwegian culture, as well as a farm museum. For the younger ones, we have a playground in the center of the campsite. There are also great hiking opportunities in the surrounding areas, feel free to ask us and we will give you our best recommendations! Welcome to nature, culture and a beautiful experience!
