About this campground
Birkelund Camping is located midway between Oslo and Bergen and is nicely located along Fylkesvei 50. You will find us between Hol and Aurland, only 20 minutes away from the center of Geilo. We are a scenic campsite right by Geilo with lush wildlife and diverse outdoor activities. Birkelund camping borders Hallingskarvet National Park and is close to Hardangervidda National Park. We are therefore a natural place to spend the night when visiting Hallingdal, with a short distance to Geilo, Ål and Hallingskarvet. A perfect starting point for mountain tours, sport fishing, winter sports or if you just want to experience powerful Norwegian nature.
