About this campground
Nestled in the picturesque Yorkshire countryside between the Howardian Hills and the Yorkshire Dales, this location offers a distinctive distillery experience just 20 minutes from York. The property provides spacious, flat grass parking for motorhomes in a rural setting, with convenient proximity to charming North Yorkshire market towns including Easingwold, Haxby, and Malton. As England's only self-built whisky and gin distillery, the venue combines craftsmanship and adventure rooted in Yorkshire's rugged character. Guests can experience guided distillery tours featuring tastings of at least six different spirits, from bold gins to characterful whiskies.

The tours offer insight into the production process, including vacuum gin distillation techniques and the distinctive Tasmanian copper still—the only one in the Northern Hemisphere. Those not driving are welcome to enjoy the full tasting experience and take home a complimentary sample. The property welcomes visitors to its licensed bar open Saturday afternoons, where guests can enjoy the distillery's award-winning sustainable spirits or grab freshly made tea and coffee. An on-site shop allows browsing of spirits and related items. The outdoor seating area and shop are dog-friendly, and the distillery grounds are wheelchair accessible, ensuring a welcoming experience for all visitors.
