Woodlands Caravan Park Gypsy Camping Pod

It is an ideal base for touring Mid Wales, walking, cycling, mountain biking, birdwatching, fishing or just relaxing and taking in the fresh air.A fantastic alternative to camping, our gypsy camping pod has a covered porch area, lockable glazed double doors and a domed roof that allows you to easily stand up inside. Inside there are three single bed benches to sleep on, or convert two of the single beds into a large double. The third single bed can either be folded away or used depending on the number in the group. Guests are asked to bring their own sleeping bags or bedding.The pod has lighting, mains electricity and is well insulated to keep you warm in winter and cool in summer. Parking is next to the pod. Sorry, no dogs are allowed in this pod and smoking and cooking inside the pod are not permitted.A warm and friendly reception awaits you at the entrance to the park. Please book in on your arrival and collect the park and local information. We are always happy to help you plan your days out and have plenty of visitor leaflets for you to pick up.On site we have a large tea room selling hearty breakfasts, a lunch time menu and afternoon teas with home-made cakes. You can choose to eat inside the Victorian building or sit outside. There is an adjoining gift shop selling Welsh crafts and produce and a small selection of groceries and camping accessories. Gas is also available here. By the reception and the tea rooms there is a free Wi-Fi zone – Please ask for the code.On our main green there is a large slide, non bump see saw, roundabout, swings and goal posts.There is a laundry room with a washing machine and dryer. An ironing board and iron is available should you require. Next to the laundry room is a games room with a table tennis table. You can either bring your own bats or borrow some from us.There are mountain, woodland, forestry and river walks available all either from the park or nearby. Please ask for details at reception.
