About this campground
Overview William’s Bottom Campground is located along State Route 279 (AKA Potash Road). The area is named after John “Doc” Williams, Moab’s first community medical doctor. Around the turn of the 19th century, Doc Williams established his residence across the Colorado River from the Kane Creek confluence. Today campers enjoy this area and the numerous surrounding recreational activities and scenic vistas from a 17-site campground. Located 9.6 miles northwest of Moab, William’s Bottom is surrounded by the red rock walls of the Colorado River Canyon. Be prepared for temperatures below
