The Pods at Auchenhean offer a peaceful rural escape but are still only 30 minutes from Glasgow by car or by direct train from Lochwinnoch. On the edge of Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park and close to the Sustrans Cycle Track it is the perfect spot for families who want to be active or for those looking for a relaxing break. Lochwinnoch is the nearest village 3 miles away with shops, cafes and pubs. Relax in your private hot tub, or enjoy the wood fired sauna.The Den is custom built with insulation, double glazing and electric heating, and is cosy all year round.

Each pod sleeps up to 6 people in a double bed / bunk bed / pull out sofa bed but ideal for 2 adults and 2/3 children, or 4 adults, Inside each pod you will find a dining area with table and chairs/benches and a kitchen area equipped with sink, fridge, freezer, kettle, toaster and 2 zone hob. Pots, pans, cutlery and plates are all provided. There is an en-suite with shower, sink and toilet. Outside on your decking area is your private hot tub with views across the field and onto Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park. Your own picnic bench and fire-pit/bbq area is out front.To keep things simple all bedding, towels, cooking equipment, heating and hot tub costs are included in the per night price.NEW for 2025 - enjoy the new wood fired sauna and cold plunge pool with views across the nearby countryside and fields. Sauna benefits are said to include easing pain, reducing stress, and improving cardiovascular health. Dogs are welcome too.* Largs and the west coast is 20 minutes by car. * For sightseeing further afield Loch Lomond, The Trossachs, Stirling are a short drive away (40 mins) and Edinburgh an hour away.* Activities nearby include golf at Lochwinnoch, Kilbirnie or Beith.
