About this campground
Werratalsee-Naturcamp-Meinhard is a small, cozy campsite located near the beautiful Werratalsee and the Werra, close to Eschwege, in the real heart of Germany. We offer rental services for log cabins, tipi tents, normal tents, or camping spots for your own tent. You can enjoy canoeing or boating on the Werra and Werratalsee, take lovely walks, go cycling, and much more. The site is free of cars, caravans, and motorhomes, but these can be parked on a nearby site. We keep a campfire burning from April to October and plan to offer winter camping from next year. We are very child-friendly. Dogs, horses, and other pets are allowed. The site also serves as the clubhouse for the Meinhard e.V. association, which promotes active, environmentally friendly, and nature-oriented lifestyles.
