Norfolk's leading low profile holiday park for touring caravans, motor caravans, tents etc.Waxham Sands is a quiet & spacious holiday park set in over 100 acres, approximatly 12 miles north of Great Yarmouth, situated in lovely unspoilt Norfolk countryside close to the Norfolk broads and adjacent to a nature reserve and bird sanctuary, and next to the sea, where many seals can be seen in and out of the water.Waxham Sands has its own half mile strech of sandy beach, the camping areas offer a large number of pitches with electric hook up as well as none electric pitches and is an ideal spot for family holidays in peaceful unspoilt surroundings.The Holiday Park nestles beneath the sand dunes, and comprises of an office/reception a small supermarket (catering for all your needs), there is also an off sales for those over 18!, there are flush toilets throughout the camping area, fully tiled shower blocks for men and women, there are also disabled toilets and showers, there is a launderette and ample water points throughout the holiday park.Our hot food take away gives a rest from cooking!A large recreation area offers opportunities for kite flying & other sports, There is 2 play areas with swings etc. one is for under 10s, the other an adventure play area for older children.Dogs are welcome in the holiday park but must be kept on a lead at all times, they can be let free in the dog recreation area,s and on the beach, but must be kept under control.You can be close to nature and enjoy the wide expanse of the sea shore for sunbathing, swimming, boating and fishing!etc.Chinese Lanterns / Sky Lanterns, Fireworks and wood burning are totally banned in the Holiday Park, the Dunes and the Beach. Please adhere to these Fire regulation rules or you may be asked to leave!Day trippers welcome;-Large car park & picnic area & access to the beach.
