Large car park at the Waidhofen an der Thaya leisure center. Parking area asphalt, even. 1 night allowed. Quiet at night. No shadow. Outdoor swimming pool and restaurant in the leisure center. Friendly staff and fine pizza, also to take away. 550 m to the city center. Starting point for cycle paths: z. B. Thayarunde-Süd-Radweg. Thayarunde cycle path, northwards on the old railway line to Slavonice CZ and further. Special: Europe's largest bald ibis aviary on the large car park near the old town.
