About this campground
Vik camping is located by Nisser, Telemark's second largest lake, surrounded by wooded hills and smooth-cut mountains up to 1,000 meters high. The area offers great opportunities for outdoor activities all year round. The place is also suitable as a starting point for day trips by car in southern Norway - both to the coast and to mountains and plains. The area is primarily an eldorado for those who don't like standing or queuing, but who want to enjoy themselves in scenic surroundings and be responsible for activities and cooking themselves. There are many opportunities for you who are active. You can get recommendations for trips on foot, by water, by bike or car at reception.

Summer is our high season, but also in winter there are good conditions with groomed ski slopes on the mountain 15 min. drive from the campsite. The nearest alpine centers are Vrådal (22 km.) and Gautefall (36 km.). Vik Camping constantly receives feedback from satisfied guests, particularly highlighting our sanitary facilities and good cleanliness. Our reception is staffed during the high season from St.Hans to mid-August. Contact us for more information. We welcome you!
