Vesterålen Rorbuer is a charming and natural accommodation located in the idyllic Straumsjøen, right on the edge of the ocean in beautiful Vesterålen. Here, authentic, historic rorbu from the 18th and 19th centuries are combined with modern comfort, and the latest addition is five new motorhome and camping sites right by the sea. With views of mountains and fjords, you get to experience northern Norwegian coastal life at its very best. The camping area is peaceful and well-organized, and offers great facilities such as power outlets, access to sanitary facilities and opportunities for emptying.

You will also find pleasant outdoor areas with seating where you can enjoy the midnight sun, watch sea eagles soar over the water, or simply find peace in the magnificent landscape. For the active, there are both SUP boards and inflatable kayaks for rent, perfect for exploring the coastline directly from the fisherman's hut. There are also guided mountain hikes – both short and longer – including to the local lighthouse or up spectacular peaks such as Vikantinden and Nattmålstinden. Just a stone's throw away you will find Damperiet Bryggecafé, where you can enjoy fresh seafood in maritime surroundings.
