About this campground
Right by the highway… and right by a stunning river too. Vernal RV Resort is a real winner for managing to combine two huge perks into one excellent Utah location. You’ll only need to make a short diversion off Highway 45 to get to this RV park right on the banks of the Green River. Being by the river of course makes this a scenic spot, but there's more to it than that, as it’s surrounded by BLM land designated for recreational use, and it's got a private beach from which guests can fish or launch their watersports craft.

Don’t have your own? Don’t worry – various recreational rentals are available at the resort according to the season (fishing poles, kayaks, bikes and snowmobiles among them). Your outings might take you to nearby hotspots like Dinosaur National Monument or Ashley National Forest, or just along the highway to Horseshoe Bend – a particular favourite among the locals. You don’t, in fact, have to go far for some gorgeous views, however – the resort itself is often treated to stunning sunrises, sunsets and starry displays by night. There's plenty of space at the resort, too – sites have been designed to accommodate all sizes of RV, plus whatever outdoor toys you might like to bring along for your break. Guests also have access to convenient amenities including barbecue pits, games of corn hole and horseshoes, and a clubhouse with a shop, a laundry, bathrooms and freshly brewed coffee every morning. The city of Vernal is only about 15 minutes' drive away for shops and places to eat out.
