About this campground
This is a piece of mountain land intentionally flattened out to accommodate up to 4 campers, that has an amazing view of Valle D’Aosta. The owners of the land, Luca and Franca, are wonderful and hospitable people that know the surrounding land extremely well. Their house is just above this plot of land looking down, but there is good separation and privacy. The view looks down over the village of Lignan, where Luca and Franca also manage the local Locanda where great food is made in the local traditional ways. Very close by the camping spot is a local farm you can walk to and buy Fontina direct from the farmers.

The hiking in this area is amazing, and in the winter it becomes a haven for cross country skiing. If you love the mountains and want to find a real local village that’s not packed with tourists, you cannot miss this place. Send a message or whatsapp when you’re on your way or send a mail for more information. Please note that this is NOT an equipped camping area, there are NO TOILETS and NO ELECTRICITY or other services. Just free water.
