About this campground
Selected as this top quality Castels site has a spectacular position right on the Ardèche river, walking distance from Vallon Pont d'Arc and the famous arched bridge cut into the rocks. it has its own beach and its own canoes. The friendly site owners have worked tirelessly since 1984 to create what is probably the best site in the area. Everything is beautifully maintained and totally in harmony with the natural verdant surroundings. All services including toilet blocks have been installed in pretty stone-faced buildings with an arched theme and further enhanced by an abundance of well-trimmed hedges and trees. A lively atmosphere in high season. The Chalvet family who own this site also have up a spacious top quality 5-star chalet park at Lagorce nearby called Domaine de Sevénier. The site includes its own aquapark, bar and restaurant and is highly recommended.
