About this campground
Our listed half-timbered farm @bauen_auf_dem_baumhof is located on the edge of the beautiful Sauerland gold village Rehringhausen. Surrounded by forest, meadows, hills, sheep, horses, hiking and mountain bike trails. The Biggesee and the ski and bike area at the Fahlenscheid are easily accessible. The parking space is located behind the passage barn next to a bicycle or dirt road. Water canisters and sinks are possible at the forge. Our sheep are within walking distance and in the village there is an inn. One absolutely idyllic barbecue or sleeping place at our ponds is reachable in 20 minutes on foot. The next large place with supermarket, cinema etc is about 5km away.

We have a parking space on straightened gravel area. We are third and renovate the main building while we live above the forge in a newly built half-timbered building, which is to become a holiday apartment. We work with historical, ecological and sustainable building materials and gladly give insight into the construction with wood, lime, brick and clay.
