About this campground
The most beautiful place to park either during the day or overnight. Just off the N222 route in Portugal, this park up offers the most stunning vistas that Portugal has to offer. Rolling hills reaching out over 15km - the Douro river spread symetrically across the landscape, with small fishing vessels and the occasional cruise boat hum along across the scene. And to top it off a train line follows the river In the distance, before making its way into the small Portuguese villiage. Oh and this is Vine yard territory, so contouring galore! If you’re on the long drive to Porto via the N222 (voted Avis’ best driving road) stop and stay the night. Next levs lush!
