About this campground
Umbukta Fjellstue is a traditional and old shuttle and toll station with lots of history in the walls. The original farm was cleared around 1830. In 1873 it was used as a mountain lodge for the Lapland farmers from Sweden who were going to Mo i Rana to trade goods. In the period 1904 - 1939 there was a boat route on Uman, between Umbukta and Umfors. The "new" mountain lodge opened at Easter 2001, with a cozy café and the option of overnight accommodation all year round. Umbukta and the surrounding mountain areas are a much-used outdoor area for people in Rana, and there are around 400 cabins around the area. We can offer a restaurant with all rights, accommodation and activities.

Our premises are popular for events, such as confirmation, Christmas parties etc. The caravan site became part of Umbukta Fjellstue in the summer of 2004. We want to be a hub for all caravan users, cabin people and other outdoor enthusiasts, and hope to see you with us soon. Welcome!
