Turtle River North Campground is part of Turtle River State Park, a 775-acre recreational area nestled in a beautiful wooded valley along the Turtle River in Grand Forks County. Built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s, the park preserves historic stone bridges and log structures while offering modern camping amenities. The North Campground features modern campsites equipped with electricity and water hookups, accommodating RVs and trailers in a shaded forest setting. Campers enjoy access to extensive recreational opportunities including over 13 miles of trails winding through forested hills and along the river corridor, perfect for hiking and mountain biking.
