Turtle River Campground

Campground Policy **All guests voluntarily assume all risks and danger incidental to Turtle River Campground, including serious injury or death, and agree that the booking agent and property owner are not responsible for any damages, injuries, or claims arising from the use of the facility** 1. All individuals on site must be a minimum of 19 years of age unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Parents or guardians must remain on site for the duration of the stay. This includes all seasonal campers. 2. Only one camping unit per site will be allowed. The only exception will be tents for young children. 3. Campsites must be kept clean and tidy at all times. 4. Quiet time is 11:00 pm to 7:00 am. Please be respectful of other campers. 5. Guests are encouraged to resolve complaints or disagreements with each other in a peaceful and respectful manner; however, serious complaints requiring intervention by management will be directed to the local RCMP. 6. Only registered guests will be permitted to remain in the campground after 11:00 pm. Campground access past 11:00 pm for non-registered guests will not be allowed. 7. Aggressive or noisy pets will not be tolerated in the campground. Pets must be controlled at all times and must be on a leash not exceeding 6 feet. Loose pets outside of the owner’s campsite are strictly prohibited. Pets are not allowed in washrooms. Guests are required to clean up all waste and messes created by their pets. 8. Turtle River Campground has a zero-tolerance policy and reserves the right to revoke campground access to seasonal or short-term campers if necessary. Refunds will NOT be provided to guests who have had their access privileges revoked. 9. **A cancellation fee of $20.00 applies to all cancellations**. For multiple bookings, the cancellation fee will be applied to each booking to be cancelled. Bookings cancelled 14 days or less before arrival will be entitled to a 50% refund, minus the $20.00 cancellation fee. If cancelled 15 days or more in advance, a full refund will be provided, minus the $20.00 cancellation fee. **Please note that bookings spanning long weekends will not be entitled to a refund for the dates of the long weekend (3 nights).** 10. A 3 night minimum reservation is required on holiday long weekends. **No refunds will be given for cancellations of long weekend reservations, regardless of advance notice.** 11. Off season rates apply after September 15th. Seasonal permit holders will be required to pay the nightly rate after this date. Limited services will be available within the campground during the off season period. 12. Check in time is 4:00 pm and check out is 11:00 am. 13. ATVs and UTVs are not permitted for travel around the campground. ATV/UTV use will only be permitted for transportation from the user’s campsite to the connector trail or from the connector trail back to the user’s campsite. The campground speed limit of 10km/hr must be followed. Quiet time (11:00 pm to 7:00 am) applies to ATVs/UTVs. Golf carts are permitted for travel around the campground, provided they are operated in a safe and respectful manner. All ATV/UTV/golf cart owners and riders will accept responsibility for any injury, accidents, and/or property damage. 14. Cutting, defacing, or securing with nails/screws to any trees is prohibited. 15. Smoking and vaping is prohibited in public spaces and inside of buildings. 16. Turtle River Campground is not responsible for any damages incurred on the premises. Guests are strongly encouraged to have their own insurance for all personal property stored on the campground premises.
