About this campground
Turifoss Camping is idyllically located along the E14, just 4 km from the center of Meråker. This campsite is perfect for both short and long stays, whether you are traveling with a caravan, motorhome, tent or want to rent a cabin. The campsite has a long history and got new owners in the fall of 2023, who have now reopened and improved the site to give guests the best possible experience. The resort offers two cozy cabins for rent, perfect for those who want a more comfortable stay. In addition, there are around 15 places for campers and caravans, as well as many beautiful areas for tents.

If you prefer to sleep under the open sky, there are also good opportunities to camp with a hammock among the trees on the property. The campsite has modern sanitary facilities with two toilets and two showers, where hot water is included in the price. Guests also have access to a free washing machine and dishwasher, making it easier to keep clothes and equipment clean during their stay. One of the biggest advantages of Turifoss Camping is its scenic location right by a river, where you can both swim and fish. The rushing water of the river also helps to drown out the traffic noise from the main road, giving you a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere during your stay. The site is open all year round, weather permitting. This means you can enjoy camping life both in summer and winter, whether you want to go fishing in the river or try out the cross-country skiing trails in the area.
