Birdlife you may hear or see on your walk to the PurePod include the Kereru, Kiwi, Tui, Fantail, Kingfisher and Grey Warbler. Remember a small backpack is the best choice and makes for an easier walk too. Nestled among the tree-line, you’ll feel as though you’re floating in the sky. While you relax, you may hear the hum of planes landing into Kerikeri. It’s unlikely they’ll spot you amidst your secluded haven. During your stay, immerse yourself in the soothing sounds of the nearby river and the enchanting melody of birdsong, embracing the peace and tranquility this unique place offers. Simply unwind and fully embrace the PurePod experience. If you are able to tear yourself away from the luxurious comforts of the property, Kerikeri provides an opportunity to delve into New Zealand’s history, visit art galleries, and relish in fresh local produce. Other activities to enjoy in the region include walking, chasing waterfalls, enjoying a wellness spa retreats, or visiting the local farmers markets. Of course, if such exploration is not quite what you desire, stretch out on the deck and embrace the complete absence of people. The PurePod has all the facilities you require including a fabulous shower, flush toilet, crisp linen, cooking and eating equipment including a gas hob and barbeque, tea coffee and milk; as well as an assortment of games, local reference books, and a telescope. So sit back, relax in the luxury camp chairs out on the deck, or laze in the super comfortable bed and watch nature put on a show. You can either bring your own supplies or pre-order a delicious breakfast and dinner food hamper when you make your reservation. The dinner & breakfast hamper is filled with mouth-watering fresh food that is grown and harvested in Northland. You’ll start the evening fare with local cheeses, cured meats, bread, crackers, and olive oil. For the main course, enjoy the chef’s selection (lamb or steak) and seasonal salad. Breakfast is muesli, yoghurt and fresh fruit. Check-in is from 3pm (but please make sure you arrive in plenty of time to walk to the PurePod before dark). Check-out is by 12 pm on the day of departure. Once you have confirmed your booking, you will receive special instructions on how to find your secret slice of paradise.
