Nice spot but too many ‘widow makers’ cold shower only and toilets, bins . Not worth $5 per night
Have stayed many times. It’s a great spot, lots of shady places to camp and each site has its own water.
This campsite offers a beautiful location along the Murray River with plenty of shady spots and access to fresh water at each site, making it a great value at just $5 per person per night. While the area is still recovering from flooding, and some sites have safety concerns with 'widow makers', many guests appreciate the friendly atmosphere and the availability of basic amenities like toilets and showers. However, campers should be prepared for cold showers and the need to bring their own toilet paper.
