Toad Hill

Hello we are so happy to have you at toad hill! Before you come up please take a look at and screen shot the directions and property map before. Gps is unreliable. Sometimes gps doesn’t work for our property because it tries to take you through restricted National Forest roads. This property is off the grid so there is no potable water, electricity, or Wi-Fi, and there is spotty cell service. Service is best at the top of the hill by the red barn, usually you can get and send SMS only. You will have to pack in whatever bedding, lights, cookware, batteries, and water you need. Most sites have limited solar lighting, but you should bring extra for cloudy days. There are local streams if you want to purify your own water. Fire wood is $5 a bundle and there is separate wood for the fire pits and stove. Money box is in the unit for cash or you can venmo @toad_hill. All fires must be attended at all times (wood stove fires can be left lit with door shut). Before you leave check your site; we are a “leave no trace” facility.
