About this campground
TJELDSUND Bo & Camping is located on Tjeldøya in Tjeldsund municipality. The campsite is a year-round pitch for caravans, but we also have guest pitches for caravans, mobile homes, tents based on daily, weekend and weekly rentals. We have a great service building with 4 showers and 4 toilets, as well as 1 disabled toilet with its own shower. You will find us 55 km south of Harstad, 30 km from Harstad/Narvik Airport Evenes and 110 km from the national border at Bjørnefjell. The grocery store is 16 km from the square. The camping area is beautifully located in a scenic area, with easy access to both the mountains and the sea.

The place is located right by the sea, where you can swim along our beautiful beach, or fish from the floating jetty. Here you can also go on fishing trips with your own boat, and it is easy to launch boats. The area has great hiking terrain with marked hiking trails and many fine fishing lakes. The barbecue area and outdoor grill can be used freely by our guests, and we also have a gap hut for general use at the top of the square. In the waters, char and trout are fished, but in the sea it is possible to catch many kinds of fish, ranging from pollock, sole, halibut, cod, catfish and many other species. There are also good opportunities to catch sea trout and salmon from the floating jetty, and a sluice bench with a connection to fresh water has been set up on site. Otherwise, there are many idyllic fishing spots from rocks around the local area.
